Unique approach to concentrate DNA/RNA
The Super Adsorbing Polymers (SAP)-Technology is an innovative and unique approach to concentrate numerous liquids like diluted DNA or RNA solutions, environmental liquids, and other aqueous solutions to specifically enrich for nucleic acids to higher concentrations in an easy single-step process.
The first products available:
ReDUCE DNA and RNA concentrator spin columns
The first products based on this technology are commercially available since mid 2017 from BioEcho and represent the fastest way available to concentrate. The ReDUCE DNA and RNA concentrator spin columns (http://www.bioecho.de/products/sample_concentration.php) deliver a 20-fold concentration of diluted DNA or RNA solutions.
Much higher recoveries of the concentrated DNA or RNA
Compared to state-of -the art technologies where concentration protocols lead to significant target losses, the SAP-technology exhibits much higher recoveries of the concentrated DNA or RNA and represents a process of highest safety suitable for extremely precious samples. BioEcho Life Sciences GmbH and preenTec started a joint development program to develop this promising and technology into further relevant applications such as Liquid Biopsies.
